Big Draw at The Guardian

Had  a great day with families at The Guardian for The Big Draw – this year I led a workshop called the Big Ocean getting everyone to draw the sea from the biggest wave to the smallest fish… as they drew, a piece of carbon paper underneath copied their drawing onto a long piece of paper creating layers of drawing in a lovely blue waxy finish. As the drawings overlapped, the results were quite surprising and everyone liked the experience, who would have thought kids would find carbon paper cool?!
